It’s always been a dream of mine to visit all 50 of the United States. Living in the south, I’ve had the opportunity to visit all the states along the southern coastline so now I’m making my way north. This summer we visited Massachusetts, Vermont, and Connecticut. My personal rule for each state to count is that we have to do something there for it to count, not just cross the state line.

Massachusetts
We stayed in the Berkshires in a resort for a week. Super quiet towns and relaxing! We flew in and out of Boston. On the way there and back we enjoyed some time in the city. You'll have to stay tuned for more posts!
Vermont
In the middle of our trip, we hiked a little around Mount Greylock. Afterwards, we drove about half an hour until we found a town with a restaurant. The Dutchman's Tavern, 135 Depot St, Bennington, VT 05201, had an excellent fish and chips!
Connecticut
Connecticut was a quick stop! We found a town really quickly after visiting a winery and distillery so all we were up for was a quick pizza stop.
